RAISE THE BAR WITH THE PORTABLE ROADWARRIOR
It’s a New Year, and that means a new season of remotes! CES is over and once again, IP reigns supreme. Whether you’re broadcasting talk shows, sporting events, a music show, or news events or conferences, now is the time to realize the simplicity of two codecs in one with Musicam’s portable RoadWarrior. Whether choosing IP, ISDN, or a combination of the two, users are ecstatic with the all-inclusive mixing features and set-up configuration. “The RoadWarrior did very well,” reports Michael Leclair of WBUR. “We had no problems configuring for a five-hour broadcast at the Barack Obama headquarters in New Hampshire.” Two codecs in one, RoadWarrior turns a complicated broadcast into simple terms. It offers two independent broadcasts from one location, with individual mix/minus return and a five-channel mixer with software-configurable headphone presets (allows the user to choose what is audible on the headphones). Plus producing is a cinch with its built-in studio “talk-back” capability.
"The built-in mixer is really good," Leclair notes. "I like the fact that the mic preamps have a 10dB pad when set to phantom; this has been a problem on other mixers due to the higher output level of condenser mics."

Giants or Packers? Chargers or Patriots? We don’t even know who’s headed to Super Bowl XLII February 3rd, but we do know that our team will be headed there…with a Suprima. Commentary and production coordination for the broadcast in Spain will be sent direct from the stadium with this versatile, multi-network codec. We have also shipped several units to Space and Naval Warfare (SPAWAR) to assist with their communication in Afghanistan and Iraq.
