TAKE YOUR CODEC TO A NEW LEVEL! It seems like no matter how much bandwidth we have access to these days, we sometimes still find ourselves with connectivity constraints! That was the premise for our latest software upgrade, which offers the AAC-HE algorithm to provide near-transparent audio at relatively low data rates. Considered to be one of the most efficient audio compression schemes, it’s ideal for conserving network bandwidth while preserving program quality – especially for wireless applications. Additionally, real-time information is now available, displaying the jitter and Quality of Service (QOS) during a connection. With up to 24 hours saved in RAM memory, this data includes a time and date stamp that can be used with an alarm or audio logging system to check if audio interruptions were due to a network disruption. It’s accessible via the web graphical interface or XML file export. Also new with this release is compatibility with NetStar and AudioStar codecs over IP.
