The SupriMAX has been the most cost-effective purchase I’ve made in years and also the most reliable over an IP network!

DISCOVER THE SUPRIMAX AND WHAT IT CAN DO FOR YOU!

Say hello to MUSICAM USA’s SupriMAX, the Multiple IP codec in a 3 RU rack, which can house up to 14 IP audio modules! We know your racks are jacked to the max, so that’s why we’ve created this cost-effective package that saves money and rack real estate.

Based on our Suprima technology, you’ll inherit all of its essential benefits, such as having the widest range of audio compression modes, stability, flexibility, and ease of use. Except with the SupriMAX, you can increase the number of channels over IP for seamless STLs, off-site voice tracking and morning show talent connection, and broadcasting events to multiple affiliates. Each module acts like a separate Suprima, with individual controls via your embedded web server or centralized management with CCS software. So for a change, think inside the box! You’re only limited to your imagination!

  • SupriMAX key features include:
    • 3 RU 14-card Multiple IP codec frame
    • IP/ISDN connectivity
    • Automatic ISDN failover with optional plug-in card
    • Supports G.722, MPEG L2/L3, AAC LC, MPEG4 LD, apt-XTM Std & Enh, PCM, and AAC-HE
    • SupriMAX supports multicast and multi-unicast applications
    • Remote contact closures
    • LAN interface 10/100 base-T Ethernet for control and audio transmission
    • SIP compatibility

TAKE IT TO THE MAX!

MUSICAM USA has rolled out new software for its IP codec family - including the SupriMAX, to maximize flexibility and optimize bandwidth pathways. The new upgrade supports Multi-Unicast connectivity (up to 10 simultaneous connections) and offers the AAC-HE algorithm to provide near-transparent audio at relatively low data rates. Considered to be one of the most efficient audio compression schemes, it’s ideal for conserving network bandwidth while preserving program quality – especially for wireless applications.
Most importantly, real-time information is now available, displaying the jitter and Quality of Service (QOS) during a connection. With up to 24 hours saved in RAM memory, this data includes a time and date stamp that can be used with an alarm or audio logging system to check if audio interruptions were due to a network disruption. It’s accessible via the web graphical interface or XML file export and is also compatible with NetStar and AudioStar codecs.

MUSICAM HAPPENINGS

You may have been cheering for your favorite league in the MLB All-Star baseball game, clocking all the stats, Jeter’s .538 average, and the final moments of the American League’s 10th win in a row, but what you probably didn’t know was that MUSICAM USA’s Road Warrior, our portable IP and ISDN audio codec with a 5-channel mixer and 4-channel IFB talkback, was a behind-the-scenes star for one of our clients. As we approach the US Open, MUSICAM USA is thrilled to report the Road Warrior and the Suprima will take courtside seats to broadcast all the action live from New York.
