So you broadcast a lot of remotes, huh? Are you losing connectivity or having audio quality issues? You may already be familiar with Musicam USA's RoadWarrior portable IP codec, which has a 5-channel mixer and the RoadWarrior LC, which has a 2-channel mixer. However, due to numerous requests for USB wireless capabilities and additional channels to the RoadWarrior LC, Musicam USA is proud to unveil the RoadWarrior XL. This crown jewel of remotes could very well be your new best friend, at least at all your remote sites. A new full-duplex, compact audio codec, RoadWarrior XL features USB modem capabilities, a flat control surface to prevent accidental damage and all Suprima technology built inside.
The built-in channel mixer routes and mixes both input and output signals, and all audio and communication parameters are remotely configurable and can be stored in different presets for different users.
So why would you need RoadWarrior XL? Let's say you have a game to broadcast and you have a host, co-host, field-spotter/sideline reporters and a locker room reporter all interacting. You need more than two channels. Plus you can use your USB key modem for ease of use and take up only a small footprint of space in tight-fitting quarters at various venues. And the best aspect of RoadWarrior XL is that you are not tethered to a wired broadband connection, since it runs on the 3G/3.5 G networks. Your reporters can roam the vast plains of your broadcast site. As always at Musicam USA, the RoadWarrior XL is backed by our unparalleled technical support team that will help you get up and running on the air - no matter where! Check out the RoadWarrior XL's key features below. |

The RoadWarrior captured all the action leading up to American Meb Keflezighi's win at the 2009 ING NYC Marathon Nov. 1 for 1010 WINS and CBS 880 AM. Listeners in New Jersey, New York and Connecticut also stayed well-informed about the close NYC mayoral runoff days later, when Michael Bloomberg was elected to a third term. The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade takes place in Times Square on Thursday, and 1010 WINS will follow every float leading up to Santa's arrival via RoadWarrior with a total of four reporters covering the entire stretch of the parade route.
