LOOK WHAT IT CAN DO NOW! Wondering how to broadcast your concerts, live reports or studio STLs to a network of affiliates or transmitter sites over IP? MUSICAM USA has you covered when it comes to connectivity with the Suprima’s new Multi-Unicast feature, which allows a host to broadcast to 10 remote codecs. Connections over the internet or corporate LAN are made easier as the MUSICAM USA Suprima Multi-Unicast feature uses application-layer “multiple” unicast protocols, unlike traditional Multicast, which requires L2P switching, and is not allowed on the public internet. Although each of the 10 possible connections is a one-way Transmit link, the Suprima’s decoder can still receive data over IP from any one of the 10 remotes, or from a different compatible IP codec when in the Multi-Unicast mode. The Multi-Unicast feature is available in Suprima’s with software versions 5.1.0 and later. | |
