Sync (X.21/RS422 & V.35) Interface Options
The NetStar offers an optional Sync Interface Card which supplies up to 2 X.21/RS422 and/or V.35 interfaces. These are terminated in 1 37-Pin Port which appears on the rear panel of the NetStar. If this connector is not present, than your NetStar does not contain the X.21/V.35 Option.
A cable which breaks out the 37 Pin connector to either 1-2 X.21, or 1-2 V.35 interfaces is available from MUSICAM USA.

Set Sync (X.21/V.35) Interface via Front Panel Method
  1. From the STATUS screen, press ENTER to go to the MAIN MENU screen.
  2. Press 4 to select CONFIGURE and go to the CONFIG MENU screen.
  3. Press 1 to select Setup Interfaces and go to the CONFIG INTERFACES screen.
  4. Press 3 to select SYNC SETUP and go to the SYNC SETUP MENU screen.
  5. Select the port you wish to configure and press ENTER.
  6. Select the options you desire, e.g. X.21, Internal/External Clock, and Port Bit rate (Internal Only).
  7. For the Direction setting, Set each port to either Both (Bi-directional via Sync port), or None (Sync ports are ignored) .

Set Sync port options via Web control Method
From the Configure screen, go to Sync Setup, select the desired sync port settings.
Click "Apply Changes" located at the bottom of the screen to save your settings.
