CDQ Prima Revision 6 Hardware

If your Serial Number is 20000 or higher, it is possible to upgrade to the latest revision software via RS232 from your PC (DOS based only).

Upgrade Instructions for Upgrading to Rev. 6.40

A non-standard RS-232 Cable is required to perform the upgrade.
The CDQPrima has two inputs for upgrading, one is the "RC" port located on the front panel, and the other is the "Remote Control" port on the rear panel.

Each port requires a different remote control cable.MUSICAM USA's part numbers for these cables are:

• C1800-Rear Panel Remote Control Cable
• C2000-Front Panel Remote Control Cable

Both cables are available for sale from MUSICAM USA, or you can make your own, by following the appropriate pin-outs.
