CCS DISCOVER UTILITY
CCS now provides a software tool which discovers any CCS IP Codec attached to a private IP network.
Download CCSDiscoverUtility.zip
(500K) and unzip the contents to the desired folder.
This application is designed to provide the network manager or codec operators with an easy and up-to-date overview of all CCS IP codecs available on the network.
Any detachment or new attachment of a CCS IP codec can be detected early. Therefore the network manager is able to resolve conflicts as soon as possible.
Unknown IP addresses can be retrieved for new CCS IP Codecs if the front panel access is not possible.
The Discovery utility shows CCS codecs network information be means of two windows:
- A small and non-persistent window which appears only if the network configuration is different since the last network polling cycle (red box).
- An enhanced and steady window which displays the complete list of CCS codecs available on the local network. This window can be minimized at any time. Its information will remain up to date.

CCS OCX Manual Installation
The control web page of CCS IP codecs is a dynamic web page based on an ActiveX control which must be downloaded and installed on the computer running IExplorer first time one of our codecs is accessed via the web page.
In some computers and due to security reasons, the installation and downloading of ActiveX controls might be banned. In order to allow the user to use and access the web page of our units under these circumstances, we provide our customers with an Active manual installer that allows the user to install the corresponding ActiveX control manually, avoiding problems with the security settings of IExplorer.
Download SuprimaFamily_OCXManualInstall.zip (4.7M) and unzip the contents to the desired folder.

Look for the file named 'SuprimaFamily_ManualInstall.inf'. Right click on it and select the option 'install'.
A new window will pop up informing the user about the installation progress. Once the installation is done and everything was ok, this window will close.
